Toastmasters District 97 serves Toastmasters Clubs in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.

 History Edit

Toastmasters District 97 was established as a provisional district of Toastmasters International on 1 July 2014 to serve Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. At formation there were 1 club in Cambodia, 1 club in Laos, 0 clubs in Myanmar, 32 clubs in Thailand, and 4 clubs in Vietnam. Since the establishment of District 97, Yangon Toastmasters Club has been established in Myanmar.

The first District Governor was Dr Veerapan Chanyasak ACB, CL
