District 64 Fall Conference Edit

The Fall conference will be bheld on November 16th and 17th, 2012, at the Victoria Inn, Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Friday evening will include the District Evaluation contest, followed by dinner, and the roast of past District Governor Scott Winning. Saturday morning will include a keynote presentation, followed by lunch, when the Fall Communication and Leadership award will be presented. AFter lunch, two educational sessions will run, concurrently with a workshop for World Champion of Public Speaking contestants. After the District humorous speech contest, the evening will round off with a sumptuous black tie dinner, with district recognition awards, and dancing to a live band. District 64 Spring Conference Edit

The Spring 2013 District 64 Conference will be held on May 3rd and 4th, 2013 at the CanadInns Club Regent Hotel, Winnipeg, Manitoba. The Friday evening celebration includes a wonderful celebration dinner, and entertainment. Saturday morning starts with the business meeting, when the new District Officers will be voted in. After which, a free keynote presentation by former World Champion of Public Speaking Lance Miller will entertain the audience. The Spring Communication and Leadership Award will be presented at a special luncheon, and will be followed by 4 wonderful (free) education sessions. The quarter finals of the World Championship of Public Speaking will take place before the banquet, which will include, great food and district recognition awards presentations.
