District 71 Toastmasters serves 160 Toastmaster Clubs and 4500 members in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

As of 2009, there is a new District 71 website. They have made available geocoded information on its clubs, along with a map showing its Divisions.

The 2005-2006 District Governor is Lynda Molloy, DTM. The LGET and LGM are Nick Benning, ATMS AL, and Mary Murtagh DTM.

The Spring 2006 District 71 Conference will be held on May 12-14, 2006 at The Bloomfield House Hotel, Mullingar, Co Westmeath, Ireland. The conference is FEATURING International Speech and Evaluation contests.

The Fall 2006 District 71 Conference will be held on November 10-12, 2006 at Abbey Court Hotel, Dublin Road, Nenagh, Co Tipperary. Ireland. The conference is FEATURING Ed Tate, '2000 World Champion of Public Speaking' to give an educational workshop.
