We meet on the FOURTH MONDAY of every month at 6:30 for 7.00pm at the Wendywood Sports Club, 77 Darwin Avenue, Wendywood and meet 'til 10.00 p.m.
It's always a dinner meeting, so please telephone 011-786-6283 to tell us you're coming.

[edit] What to expect
Golden Gavel is Toastmasters 74's (see District 74 for more details) oldest Advanced Club. To join, you need to have a minimum of a CC (or CTM in the old language). But you're welcome to deliver a speech, no matter what your level. We do interesting and fun things that other clubs can't really schedule -- debates, advanced speeches, and, of course, we have our famous "round robin" evaluation. If you're serious about improving your speaking, Golden Gavel is the club for you!

There are three different fee options Members
- R80 a month
- R480 for six months
- R900 for the year
Non members are welcome to come to any meeting. There is a cover charge of R60, which includes supper. There is no discount for guests who choose not to eat.
